I had the tonkotsu ramen at Ujin Ramen and it exceeded my expectations. This place feels like a hidden gem in La Jolla and is definitely worth finding, though parking can be a bit of a challenge since the area is so popular. My review is mainly for the ramen. It's great. We had the Tonkotsu and the Miso ramen and each one had a great broth, delicious marinated egg, and a good amount of toppings. I got the thick noodles instead of thin and they were good. The broth has a meaty punch to it despite its pale color. This is one of the better Tonkotsu ramens you can get in SD.
